This statement is as true today as it was nearly 250 years ago. Perhaps the greatest tragedy to come out of the events of September 11, 2001, is and will be the rate at which men and women who claim to be a free people are rushing to give up their liberties in an attempt to feel safe. History has proven that once a liberty is given up, it can only be restored through bloodshed. I pray that we as a people can prove this wrong.
I hear the great outcry for God to bless our nation to restore what was taken from us on that tragic day. I ask you, how can we call upon the God of heaven to bless us when we continue to murder 3600 of His most innocent every day in this nation through abortion? Think of it, more than half as many innocent babies brutally murdered EVERY DAY in this nation as were killed on September 11, 2001, by terrorists.
